FRAME REPLACEMENTS
Frame Replacements at Klarity Optical 2020 Inc
Have you recently broken your frames? Eyeglass frames and prescription sunglasses frames tend to break at the bridge or the arms tend to break. When this happens, you may think you need an entirely new set of glasses and lenses. The good news is that Our Our Doctors can fit your current lenses into a new set of frames.
Knowing When You Need to Replace Your Frames
Since many individuals are only required to visit an eye doctor every one to two years, the eyeglasses frames may wear out before your lens prescription changes. In these instances, you don’t have to get a new set of lenses and frames. You can simply replace the frames.
Signs your frames need to be replaced include:
- The lenses keep popping out.
- The screws keep falling out of your current frames.
- You’ve broken your frames.
- Your frames are extremely worn or outdated.
- Your frames no longer fit your face.
How Our Doctors Can Help You Get a New Pair of Frames
Most individuals who wear glasses think that their lenses are only good for their current frames. This is not true. While material cannot be added to your lenses to make them larger, they can be ground down to fit another pair of frames, and Our Doctors can help.
First, Our Doctors will measure your face to determine the width of frame you need, and look at the basic shape of your face to determine the correct style of frame. For example, if you have an oval face, cat-eye, rectangle, square or wayfarer shaped lenses will look good on you. Of course, you can try on various frame styles to determine the best one for your particular style.
Next, Our Doctors will help you pick out a pair of frames in your preferred style and width that need slightly smaller lenses. For example, if you currently have large, square lenses, they could be ground down to fit a pair of frames that need rectangle lenses, round lenses or oval lenses. If you have cat-eye shaped lenses, they could be ground down to fit oval or rectangle lenses.
